Nativity Rock! is the latest musical from Sheila Wilson, the composer of Hosanna Rock! Its seven original, catchy songs and entertaining play tell the Christmas story with flair and enthusiasm, which children and audiences will love. The show begins and ends with a hand-jiving celebration, and in-between are a stirring gospel song, a gentle lullaby, and three more toe-tapping, rocking numbers.
There are approximately 30 speaking parts, including a 'director' and his two stage assistants, but this number is flexible. For example, the groups of well-wishers, inn-keepers and wives, shepherds, soldiers and angels can be any size. We give full permission for the play and speaking parts to be adapted to suit your cast.
The seven CD songs and backing tracks rock and the children will love learning the catchy songs. The easy two-part singing adds to the professional effect.
